A child's brain is about 60% fat, and one of the most important building blocks among those fats is docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). It is part of the membranes of neurons — the cells involved in memory, attention, speech and learning [1].
From birth to age 5, the brain grows faster than at any other time in life, and the need for DHA is at its highest. Yet many children do not get enough of it: few young children eat oily fish 2–3 times a week, which is what paediatricians recommend [2].
DHA is not a "just-in-case vitamin". It is a foundation laid now that supports healthy cognitive development. That is why we named this product Mind Factor Kids.
More than 90% of children's Omega-3 products on the market are made from fish oil. It is cheaper, but a fish source has three drawbacks that are rarely mentioned:
Heavy metals. Ocean fish (tuna, salmon, anchovy) accumulate mercury, lead and persistent organic pollutants from the water. Purification lowers the levels but does not remove them entirely [3].
Fishy taste and smell. The main reason children refuse to take Omega-3. Microencapsulation masks it but does not fully solve the problem.
Fish allergy. One of the "big nine" food allergies. Children with a seafood allergy have no access to DHA from fish oil at all.
Mind Factor Kids uses DHA from microalgae oil (algal oil). Algae are the original source of Omega-3 in nature: fish get their DHA by eating algae. We removed the middleman and took DHA directly — cleaner, safer, fish-free.
Algal DHA: free from heavy metals, odourless, allergen-free, and suitable for vegetarian families.
Mind Factor Kids is more than Omega-3. It is a formula of six active ingredients chosen to support a growing body:
DHA 120 mg + EPA 60 mg — building blocks for the brain, the retina and the nervous system. 180 mg of Omega-3 per serving — 2–3 times more than most alternatives (Evalar — 60 mg, Scott's — 10 mg, Supradyn — 60 mg).
Lutein + zeaxanthin 3 mg — carotenoids that help protect the retina from the blue light of screens. In an age when children spend 3–5 hours a day on tablets, this is a necessity, not an option [4].
Vitamin D3 600 IU (15 µg) — the "sunshine vitamin" for bones, teeth and the immune system. D3 deficiency is found in 60–80% of children in Russia, especially in winter [5].
Vitamin C 35 mg — an antioxidant and support for the immune system. It helps iron absorption.
Vitamin E 8 mg — protects Omega-3 from oxidation and supports cell membranes.
Six ingredients, one goal: to give a growing body what it needs to support brain development, help protect eyesight and support a strong immune system.
Most children's chewable vitamins contain 2–4 grams of sugar per serving. Over a 30-day course, that is 60–120 g of pure sugar — from "healthy" vitamins alone.
Mind Factor Kids is completely sugar-free. The sweetness comes from monk fruit extract — a natural sweetener with a zero glycaemic index that is kind to teeth and does not affect blood sugar.
The base of each gummy is pectin (not gelatine), which makes the product suitable for vegetarian families.
The strawberry-lemon flavour, from natural flavourings, means children see the gummies as a tasty treat rather than "medicine".
| Focus | Study | Result |

| Cognitive development | Helland et al., 2003; Pediatrics | Children who received DHA from birth showed stronger cognitive development at age 4 [1] |
| Memory and learning | Richardson & Montgomery, 2005; Pediatrics | Omega-3 was associated with improved reading and behaviour in children aged 5–12 [6] |
| Vision | SanGiovanni & Chew, 2005; Prog Retin Eye Res | DHA is a key component of the retina's photoreceptors and important for the development of vision [4] |
| Immunity | Vitamin D and immune function (review) | Vitamin D3 supports the normal function of the immune system |

Per serving (2 gummies, 6 g):
| Ingredient | Amount | % of daily needs (ages 3–7) |
|---|---|---|
| Omega-3 (from microalgae oil) | 180 mg | * |
| — DHA | 120 mg | * |
| — EPA | 60 mg | * |
| Lutein + zeaxanthin | 3 mg | * |
| Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) | 15 µg (600 IU) | 150% |
| Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) | 35 mg | 70% |
| Vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol) | 8 mg | 114% |
There is no established daily reference value for Omega-3 and lutein in children. The recommended DHA+EPA intake for children aged 2–4 is 100–150 mg/day (WHO).
Supporting ingredients: isomalto-oligosaccharides, pectin, sodium citrate, citric acid, lemon and strawberry concentrate, malic acid, monk fruit extract, carnauba wax, natural flavourings.
— Your child does not eat fish — or eats it less than twice a week
— Your child has started school or nursery, and their focus, memory and ability to learn matter to you
— You notice that your child tires quickly, finds it hard to concentrate or falls ill often
— Your child spends a lot of time in front of a screen, and protecting their eyesight matters to you
— Someone in your family has a fish or seafood allergy, and you need an Omega-3 without fish oil
— You want to give your child vitamins without sugar, because you care about their teeth and metabolism
— You take LONGIVIYA products yourself, and want the whole family in one system of care
Children from 3 years: 2 gummies a day, with or after food.
Course: 30 days (1 jar). We recommend repeating the course for 2–3 months, especially in autumn and winter.
Flavour: strawberry-lemon. Children tend to see the gummies as a tasty treat, so taking them is rarely a problem.
Storage: in a cool, dry place, up to +25 °C. Keep out of reach of children, so that a child does not take more than the recommended amount.
The LONGIVIYA family protocol: — Mum: Youth Code (NMN + resveratrol + spermidine) + DNA Renewal (NAD+ PDRN Serum) — Dad: Mind Code (Lion's Mane + Reishi + Cordyceps) — Child: Mind Factor Kids (Omega-3 DHA + lutein + D3) — The whole family: L. Reuteri Biotic (a probiotic for all ages)
One family, one philosophy of longevity.
