Peptide reconstitution protocols
Reference cards for research purposes: concentration, draw volume, insulin-syringe units and scientific sources for each peptide.
Reconstitution calculatorProducts in the LONGIVIYA PEPTIDE line are intended for scientific research only. This data is for reference and is not a medical recommendation.
General rules
Reconstitution
Add bacteriostatic water slowly down the vial wall under the vial's own vacuum — do not aim the stream at the lyophilate. Do not shake: swirl gently until fully dissolved.
Subcutaneous injection
U-100 insulin syringe, 45–90° angle, thin skin fold (abdomen, thigh). Rotate sites to avoid local irritation.
Units
1 mL = 100 units on a U-100 syringe. Draw volume × 100 = number of units. 1 mg = 1000 mcg.
Peptide pen V2
- 1Insert the cartridge with reconstituted peptide and screw on a single-use needle.
- 2Set the required dose by turning the dial until it clicks.
- 3Press the pen to a skin fold at 90° and push the button fully.
- 4Hold for 5–10 seconds, withdraw the needle, then remove and dispose of it.
Storage conditions
- Lyophilate (powder)
- −20 °C — years; 2–8 °C — months; room temperature — weeks.
- After reconstitution
- 2–8 °C; shelf life depends on the peptide (see the card).
- Transport
- In a cooler bag with an ice pack; protect from light and from freezing the solution.
The exact post-reconstitution shelf life is listed on each card individually.
